El gobernador de Nuevo León se defiende: "Le estoy saliendo baratísimo al estado", aseguró Jaime Rodríguez Calderón, al ser cuestionado sobre sus diferentes viajes tanto a otras entidades como a otros países.
"Esos gastos los paga el gobierno obviamente. Yo soy gobernador. Hemos gastado 1.2 millones en año y medio, mas o menos 66 mil pesos mensuales. Rodrigo Medina gastó 34 millones al año en aviones privados", dijo comparándose con el ex gobernador priista.

El mandatario justificó que ha utilizado avión privado sólo cuando es necesario. "Viaje a Houston para ver el penal del condado de Harris, fue una visita muy productiva, que le va a ahorrar millones de pesos y tuvimos que hacerlo de ida y de regreso, porque así nos lo pidieron", dijo.
Además detalló que también fue en jet privado a San Luis Potosí, Ciudad de México y Morelos, debido a llamados urgentes del presidente Enrique Peña Nieto y la Conferencia Nacional de Gobernadores.
